What is The Backyard?

The Backyard is a gathering place built around good food and the idea that you might want to stick around after you finish it.

There are tables under the oaks, an indoor Lounge, an Airstream tucked around back and plenty of places to land with a couple of friends or a whole table of them.

Come for lunch. Meet somebody for a drink. Split a board with the table. Stay longer than you planned.

That's kind of the point.

Food From The Backyard

Smoke does a lot of the work around here.

Chicken, pork and whole wings spend time in the smoker.

Beef hits a hot griddle for the Smokestack.

There are sandwiches, salads, sides and boards built to put in the middle of the table.

Nothing particularly precious.

Just good food that makes sense in a backyard.

Find Your Spot

There isn't really one way to sit at The Backyard.

Grab a table under the oaks, head inside to the Lounge, tuck into the Airstream nook or pull up a chair with a few more people than you originally planned.

Our indoor Lounge gives The Backyard another side: air conditioning, a full bar, tables and somewhere to settle in when outside isn't where you want to be.

***This area is still under construction, but it's getting very very close.

Follow the yard around and you'll find the Airstream tucked into its own little corner, with more tables and another place to disappear for a while.

Lunch in The Backyard

We open at 11 AM

Wednesday through Sunday.

Lunch works a little differently for everybody.

Maybe you're getting out of the office downtown, grabbing something between jobs, coming in from the farms or escaping the horse show for a while.

Maybe it's just Tuesday's problem, except we're closed Tuesday.

Smash burgers, smoked chicken and pork, salads, wings and the rest of the Backyard menu are available all day.

Grab a table inside, head out under the trees or find a spot around the Airstream.
